A new month is approaching, and that only means one thing; @NetflixUK are adding to their ever-growing catalogue! If you’ve managed to rinse through Bridgerton like the rest of us, then you’ll be pleased to know that February has a great mix in store for avid viewers, including more Netflix originals and older favourites.

Here’s some of the movies that will be available to watch in February:

  • Along Came Polly (2004)
  • American Graffiti (1973)
  • Detroit (2017)
  • Hostel (2005)
  • In the Line of Fire (1993)
  • Magic Mike (2012)
  • Malcolm & Marie (2021)
  • Mamma Mia! (2008)
  • Mean Girls (2004)
  • The Meg (2018)
  • News of the World (2020)
  • O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000)
  • Pelé (2016)
  • Red Dot (2021)
  • Snakes on a Plane (2006)
  • To All the Boys: Always and Forever (2021)
  • Us (2019)

Our most anticipated film has got to be Malcolm & Marie, because we can’t wait to see Zendaya and John David Washington star opposite each other in what looks to be a unique black and white romance drama. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we’ll also be checking out our favourite romcoms, from Along Came Polly to Magic Mike. Netflix is also dishing up the stars with films from Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks and George Clooney, so there’ll be plenty on offer!

Netflix have also announced some more TV shows landing in February:

  • Behind Her Eyes (2021-)
  • Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel (2021)
  • Firefly Lane (2021 -)
  • Poldark: Season 5 (2019)
  • Tribes of Europa (2021-)
  • The Crew (2021)
  • Parks & Recreation (7 Seasons)
  • Buried by the Bernards: Season 1
  • Riverdale: Season 5 – new episodes released every week
  • Snowpiercer: Season 2 – new episodes released every week

There’s definitely a theme going on here with Behind Her Eyes and Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel, as Netflix continues to dip their toes in mystery thrillers and the creepy world of crime scenes, but we’re definitely not complaining. Firefly Lane will see Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke star in the new series about two unlikely friends who form a bond that weathers all kind of storms, so we’re definitely intrigued to see where this show takes us.
